PRE-BCSPL U13 PROGRAM
WIA is pleased to announce that we are close to achieving the National Youth Club Licence and are working with Canada Soccer and BC Soccer to enter the BC Soccer Premier League in September 2025 at U14 age groups.
The U13 Pre-BCSPL teams are a required component of WIA’s BCSPL Implementation Plan. This Program is launching in September 2024.
The U13 Pre-BCSPL Girls and Boys teams will compete in the LISA Development League in Fall 2024. The teams will be coached by our Canada Soccer Youth and A-licensed coaches. The teams formed will play 8v8 or 9V9 following the BC Soccer Small Side Game Manual.
Selected players will be given the opportunity to play 11v11 on the Competitive Pathway U14 team throughout the season.
Training sessions will be 3 times per week to mirror the BCSPL standards and focus on the four areas of development: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychosocial.
