COMPETITIVE PATHWAY – A CUP

WIA is pleased to announce an advanced in-club Competitive Pathway Program delivered in partnership with the Whitecaps, Vancouver Island Academy Centre to support and develop players aspiring to play Collegiate Soccer and higher.

U14 players will participate in the Whitecaps Prospects Program and the U16 and U18 teams will be supported by the Caps to College Program.

WIA’s competitive Pathway program runs from September to June and mirrors the same standards as the Player Development Program (BCSPL).

Our program aims to balance individual player growth with team enhancement, preparing our teams to compete for the Provincial A Cup and achieve national recognition at the Canada Soccer National Championships for U15 and U17 categories.

LOWER ISLAND SOCCER ASSOCIATION YOUTH LEAGUE

Teams will compete in the West Coast League (U14) or the LISA Hybrid League (U16 and U18 Divisions). League structure to be confirmed.

Teams will compete in the competitive pathway to represent the District in the BC Soccer Provincial A Cup Championship.

VANCOUVER ISLAND SOCCER LEAGUE (VISL)

The Vancouver Island Soccer League is a winter competitive league for our players to compete for the BC Men’s Provincial Championship and Canadian National Men’s Championships. www.visl.org

PROFESSIONAL TRIALS AND COLLEGE SHOWCASE TOURNAMENTS

The WIA players have the opportunity to explore professional opportunities in Sweden through our partner club Halmstads BK.
