BOYS COMPETITVE PROGRAM

OVERVIEW

The Boys Competitive Program provides a clear and inspiring pathway for male athletes U14–U17 who are ready to challenge themselves and grow in a high-performance, development-focused environment.

Following the Canada Soccer and BC Soccer player development frameworks, and aligning with the standards of the Player Development Program (BCSPL), this program emphasizes the development of technical ability, tactical understanding, physical performance, and mental resilience. Just as importantly, it fosters a positive culture where players are supported, motivated, and encouraged to lead with respect, discipline, and teamwork.

Through high-quality training, meaningful competition, and mentorship from experienced coaches and role models, players gain the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to achieve their goals while building a lifelong passion for the game.

SCHEDULE

Training Block 1:
Fall: August 23 – December 13, 2025

- Training locations – ST ANDREWS SCHOOL/ CML SCHOOL / UVIC
- 3 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
- Optional training session: Whitecaps FC Vancouver Island BMO Academy

Training Block 2:
Winter: January 6 – March 14, 2026

- Training locations – ST ANDREWS SCHOOL/ CML SCHOOL / UVIC
- 3 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
- Optional training session: Whitecaps FC Vancouver Island BMO Academy

Training Block 3:
Spring: April 7 – June 13, 2026
