The roster is built by pulling players from the WIA Skill Centre program. The team competes against other Lower Island Soccer Association clubs.

Training Block 1: August – December 2022

  • Training session locations – UVIC
  • 2 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
    • 75 mins training sessions
  • 1 Multi-Sport session or Psychosocial activity per week
  • 1x LISA game per week
  • 1 Skill Centre Festival (October 2022)
  • Teams may opt to attend one tournament with WIA
  • NOTE: UVIC session times are 3:30 pm – 4:45 pm

  • Training session locations – UVIC
  • 2 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
    • 75 mins training sessions
  • 1 Multi-Sport session or Psychosocial activity per week

  • Teams may opt to attend one tournament with WIA

Basic development of speed, endurance and strength

Focus on quality of passing and recovering and receiving technique and ball control in small spaces

Improve attacking coordinated movements and zonal defending
