Pre-Collegiate Pathway
Players born 2005-2007
The primary focus of the program is to develop and support players wishing to pursue soccer at a post-secondary level.
WIA offers a professionally coached, comprehensive, CSA standards-based program to better prepare student-athletes for the levels required to be competitive. WIA also provides a platform for these players to showcase themselves to universities and pro clubs through various tournaments in Canada, the US and abroad.
The program provides

- Team field sessions with an emphasis on topics such as proactive decision-making and tactical game management

Program Fees
- $2,205 includes GST
- *Plus $150 LISA League fee
- All players receive
- A Standards-based curriculum
- 2-3 Technical/Tactical sessions per week
- 1 Strength and Conditioning session per week
- Full kit (short, shirt, jacket, socks)
- *Lower Island Soccer Association League matches
- Professional coaching
- Includes team registration for two showcase tournaments
- Does not include PCSL fee

LOWER ISLAND SOCCER YOUTH LEAGUE
WIA U17/18 players will compete in the Lower Island Soccer Association U18 A CUP. The LISA League is a winter competitive league in which teams compete for the BC Soccer Provincial A and B Cup Championship. www.lowerislandsoccer.com
LOWER ISLAND WOMEN’S SOCCER LEAGUE
WIA players will compete in the Lower Island Soccer League (LISWA) through a club partnership. The LIWSA is a winter competitive league in which teams compete for the BC Women’s Provincial Championship and Canadian National Women’s Championships. www.liwsa.com
VANCOUVER ISLAND SOCCER LEAGUE (VISL)
The Vancouver Island Soccer League is a winter competitive league for our players to compete for the BC Men’s Provincial Championship and Canadian National Men’s Championships. www.visl.org
PACIFIC COAST SOCCER LEAGUE (PCSL)
The Pacific Coast Soccer League is WIA’s main competitive league. The PCSL is an amateur soccer league, currently featuring teams from all over British Columbia. In the past clubs from the USA, Washington and Oregon have competed. PCSL is considered to be British Columbia’s premier league for adult soccer. www.pcsl.org
PROFESSIONAL TRIALS AND COLLEGE SHOWCASE TOURNAMENTS
The WIA players have the opportunity to explore professional opportunities in Spain and Portugal through our exchange programs.
