James Bay FC

James Bay Football Club is a community-based program offering new, emerging and developing club players between the ages of 2 and 11 years, a grassroots development soccer program.

The main goals of the program are to help eliminate barriers preventing participation in community programming, increase overall physical activity by developing good physical literacy and fundamental movement skills, and introduce more kids to the sport of soccer.

Please note that as of September 2022, players will be registered with WIA and will not be eligible to register with another LISA club.

Program Overview

The Discovery Program sessions will be led by trained coaches from Westcastle International Academy’s Women and Men’s Residency programs and supervised by a Technical Lead.

  • Warm-Up Games
  • Station-based training (Physical Literacy, Game, Technical skill, Social Activity)
  • One adult family member is on the field with the player
  • 1v1 activities as a scrimmage
  • Players must wear T-shirts, shorts or tracksuit and cleats/runners
  • Shin guards are not required

Ages 4-5

  • Station-based training (Physical Literacy, Game, Technical skill, Social Activity)
  • No adults are allowed on the field outside of the coach
  • 3v3 activities following BCSA/CSA game model
  • Players must wear T-shirts, shorts or tracksuit and cleats/runners
  • Shin guards required for all players

Ages 6-7
