Admission to the Dedicated Player Program is open to all players registered with a LISA Club, playing at the gold level.

WIA Pre-BCSPL U13 Dedicated Player Program @UVic

The goal for the U13 division (girls and boys born 2011-2012) in the Dedicated Player Program at UVic, is to train and prepare for the full-field 11v11 BCSPL Intake for the following year. The U13 division of the DPP is part of WIA’s Pre-BCSPL implementation.

Training Block 1: September 22, 2023 – December 12, 2023

  • Training session locations – UVIC 2A: Fridays 5:30 – 6:30 pm
  • 1x Training sessions per week (Technical and Small Sided Games incorporated)
  • 3x per month: Technical/ Tactical Sessions
  • 1x per month:  Physical Session

Training Block 2: Jan 12, 2024 – Mar 8, 2024

  • Training session locations – UVIC: Fridays 5:30 – 6:30 pm
  • 1x Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
  • 3x per month: Technical/ Tactical Sessions
  • 1x per month:  Physical Session
  • $630.00 (includes GST)
  • Kit fees – all players are required to wear a full WIA training kit to all practices
    • Base kit: $55
      • Shorts, Socks and training jersey
    • Full Kit: $130
      • Shorts, socks, training jersey, jacket
  • All players receive
    • Standards-based curriculum
    • 10 sessions per Term
    • 1x sessions per week
    • Professional coaching
    • Low player-to-coach ratios

Increase confidence with the ball & playing with teammates
Cooperation with teammates in collective tasks during practice
